Based in the heart of Cardiff, Yolk Recruitment has been leading the charge for recruitment for over 15 years, placing the perfect people with over 200 businesses a year across the UK.
Now in 2024, we're expanding one step further, launching a dedicated Social Housing recruitment team, headed by Hannah Welfoot, as part of our Public Sector and Not-for-Profit recruitment offering.
Starting her Social Housing recruitment career in 2006, member of the CIH (Chartered Institute of Housing) and Board for Women in Social Housing (WISH South West), Hannah has continued to build trusted working relationships with both operational and executive level corporate service and specialist housing professionals. Having previously held the Recruitment Business Partner position for one of the largest Housing Providers in Wales and shadowing multiple divisions across the Group, Hannah has observed first-hand how recruiting on values has a direct impact on making a positive difference to clients and candidates.
“I have been watching how Yolk have grown their Public Sector offering over the years, they truly live and breathe their values and have introduced some fantastic charitable initiatives which I’m excited to get behind,” Hannah explains. She continues, “Yolk’s offering is a sector that I’m passionate about and I can’t wait to share how we can add value to Associations across Wales and England”.
The importance of this latest market offering cannot be understated as the demand for Social Housing, and subsequently Social Housing professionals, across Wales and the South West of England continues to grow.
“The Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has been working with housing associations across Wales for many years.” Yolk’s Public Sector and Not-for-Profit division manager, Nici Jones, tells us.“I’m delighted that with the appointment of Hannah and the launch of our dedicated Social Housing division, we can expand our offering to these clients and beyond.”
With ambitious plans to grow the team over the coming year, Yolk’s clients and those seeking the next step in the career journey can look forward to online webinars, in-person seminars, exclusive video content, and 1-2-1 training at Yolk Recruitment continues to solidify its well-established name within the Wales and South West Housing community.
“I’m elated to launch Yolk’s Social Housing recruitment offering. This is an area of the business that has been in the pipeline for a little while now, and to finally see it come to fruition feels like a big step forward.” explains Yolk Recruitment’s Managing Director Pavan Arora. “As the demand for Social Housing grows throughout Wales and the South West, as does the demand for professionals to be able to facilitate.
