My client is a leading global financial services business, renowned for our innovation, expertise, and commitment to excellence. They provide a comprehensive range of financial solutions to clients around the world, with a strong emphasis on customer service and operational efficiency. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a dedicated and professional Arrears Executive to join tehir dynamic team in their Newport office.



The Role:

As an Arrears Executive, you will play a crucial role in our collections team, responsible for managing and resolving overdue accounts. This position offers a hybrid working model, with mandatory office attendance every Tuesday and Wednesday. However, during the initial four weeks, you will be required to be on-site full-time for training and induction purposes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage and monitor accounts in arrears to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to negotiate repayment plans and settlements.
  • Analyse customer accounts to identify reasons for arrears and assess customers' ability to pay.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and agreements in our systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex cases and improve overall collections processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.


Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with collections software.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
