Engineering Internal Sales Executive

Basic Salary - £40k

Yolk Recruitment are working on behalf of civil engineering company in South Wales in search for a someone to join their sales team. This company provides high quality infrastructure solutions for everything from bridges to rail platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a civil or structural engineering background with excellent communication skills. This candidate will be tasked with seeking out new opportunities with the company's existing clients. You will consult with the clients and take them from discovery calls through to design and point of sale.

Main responsibilities as an Internal Sales Executive

• Outbound call & emails prospecting to existing clients
• Research and identify new opportunities
• Conduct discovery calls, manage project requirements & client expectations
• Create project plans
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance
• Work closely with internal engineers
• Manage client expectations and gain feedback
• Manage your sales pipeline and update the CRM

Your skills/ experience as an Internal Sales Executive

• Ideally have a civil or structural engineering qualification or have experience working within engineering environment.
• Experience using CAD software to product AutoCD 2D & 3D drawings.
• Able to produce accurate drawings of concrete & steel
• Ability to seek out new business opportunities
• Brilliant communication skills
• Excellent numeracy skills.
