Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Weston-Super-Mare

Salary: Circa £47,500 with shift allowances paid (+ enhanced rates for any overtime worked)

Shift: Continental

Our client, a leading manufacturer supplying products to a wide range of market sectors is looking for additional Multiskilled Maintenance Engineers to join their existing team to meet growth plans and expand their production capability. This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer who is confident with electrical fault finding skills to join a market leader who boas strong financial performance and are committed to enhancing equipment performance and providing clear development opportunities for their workforce.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Ensuring that production targets are met using the appropriate technical support in the correction, prevention and elimination of technical problems
• Driving the move from a reactive culture to an improvement culture enhancing equipment performance and reliability
• Proven skills in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Ability to work unsupervised

The skills and experience you'll bring to the team:

• Ideally level 3 related qualification in an electrical discipline
• Proven skills in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
• Electrical bias - Experience with PLCs ideal but not essential
• Experience with Hydraulics and/or Pneumatic
