YOLK Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join an exciting Professional Services company with a fantastic reputation based in Newport. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

£25,000 - £30,000 plus excellent benefits

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Administer the Holiday Calendar for the administration & management team
  • Assist in setting up new employees on the payroll software
  • Assisting the set up of new employees with pension information and setting up deductions
  • Processing leavers on the payroll system
  • Process expenses on the payroll system
  • Process Deductions on the payroll system
  • Assist in submitting pensions schedules
  • Process DBS checks for staff
  • Produce monthly reporting for DBS & RTW to ensure staff are compliant

Person specification:

  • Minimum 18 months payroll experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Clear & precise communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial colleagues and managers whilst being a proactive and self-motivated member of the finance team
