Administrator

Basic salary up to £28k

Cardiff - Hybrid

Yolk Recruitment are working with a local manufacturer that is renowned for innovation, design, and manufacturing excellence, in search for an Administrator. This company Specialise in a variety of couplings used globally in power transmission, lifting, conveying, and processing applications. With operations in nearly 20 countries and a global distribution network, this company offers tailored solutions and unparalleled local support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering inbound calls and emails
  • Quotations and Follow-Ups:
  • Order Entry: Enter all orders into the system the same day
  • Order Confirmations: Send to customers within 24 hours of order receipt
  • Order Expediting: Liaise with relevant departments weekly
  • Encouraged to cross sell or find suitable replacement if items are not in stock
  • Weekly Reports: Send open order book reports to customers
  • Customer Relations: Maintain and improve relations with both external and internal customers
  • Quote Follow-Ups: Ensure customers have all necessary information and secure orders
  • Data Management

Required skills

  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
  • Organized and efficient
  • Attention to detail
  • Good time management skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Team player

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 08:00am - 16:30pm

Friday: 08:00am - 13:30pm
