Yolk recruitment are recruiting for a senior systems engineer to work on a leading aerospace client working on next generation technology.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a expanding program full of talented engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Work within a multi-functional team to solve the problem presented by the customer.
• Work with the system, hardware, and software architects to ensure consistency, design for modularity and re-use, and technical excellence.
• Build System and Product design artefacts across the software development lifecycle.
• Use Model Based Systems Engineering to create a robust model of the system being developed.
• Involvement in the full lifecycle (from requirements elicitation through to verification/certification and delivery)

Core Skills:

• Experience of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Requires a current SC security clearance
• Experience delivering a system of systems.
• An organised individual with a natural curiosity to seek out and contrast all possible solutions.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining effective communications within the team.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience developing secure communications systems.
• Experience of Enterprise Architect (EA) modelling tool
• Experience of DOORS requirements management tool
